Remote sensing toolkit

Use our Remote Sensing Toolkit if you plan to use remote sensing to map and monitor parameters in terrestrial, marine and atmospheric environments.

The toolkit aims to show managers, scientists and technicians working in marine, terrestrial and atmospheric environments how images collected from satellites and aircraft (remote sensing) can be used to map and monitor environmental features or processes and their change over time.

Evergreen and seasonally green vegetation index

Our Evergreen and Seasonally-green Vegetation Index provides estimates of photosynthetic (green) vegetation cover for evergreen (mainly trees and shrubs) and seasonal (mainly grasses) vegetation components for the Australian continent.
