Summer and winter research
The UQ Summer Research Scholarship Program offers scholarships to students who are engaged in research internships over the summer vacation period (from mid-November to mid-February).
Research internships provide the opportunity to work with a researcher in a formal research environment so that you can experience the research process and discover the types of investigations that are being undertaken in your field of interest at UQ.
Allocation of the scholarships is decided by the faculty, school, research centre or institute where the research is undertaken.

The UQ Winter Research Program provides you with an opportunity to road-test research alongside UQ academics and researchers.
The program takes place over the winter vacation period (from mid-June to mid-July).
It allows you to extend your knowledge of an area of interest, and develop your analytical, critical thinking and communication skills.
All winter scholars will receive a Winter Research Scholarship.
