If you want to challenge yourself, gain a competitive edge in the job market, conduct research in an area that fascinates you, or prepare for a Masters degree or PhD, then consider undertaking honours with us.

We offer two types of honours programs:

  • a year of study at the end of a three-year undergraduate degree program
  • a four-year undergraduate honours degree program.

Develop your skills

As an honours student, you'll build on your skills and learn how to demonstrate your capacity to apply those skills in a sustained, purposeful way.

You'll also develop attributes that are highly valued by employers, including:

  • a demonstrated reliability and capacity for independent work
  • evidence of skills for writing substantial reports
  • the ability to develop research capacity such as problem definition, developing methods, and data analysis.
