This multidisciplinary field blends fundamental biophysical science with social science and management. Environmental managers examine the causes of complex global issues such as climate change, pollution and land clearing, and develop ways to manage and solve them.

As an undergraduate you'll gain a foundation in environmental sciences with an added focus on social and economic disciplines, decision making, problem solving and policy analysis. As you progress through your degree program, you'll put theory into practice on field trips and an industry placement program, and through either detailed case studies or a research thesis in your final year. As a postgraduate, you'll build on your skills and technical expertise.
