Understanding the impact of the three gorges dam on environmental sustainability
Duration:
January 2016–January 2019
People care about biodiversity and ecosystem services, but how to make wise decisions on ecosystem management? To answer this question we need have not only transdisciplinary knowledge but also a depth understanding of multiply dynamics within ecosystems. Based on that, my projects aim to provide convincing suggestions to decision makers about optimal management strategy. By applying ‘state of the art’ approaches and network theory we will consider biodiversity and ecosystem services trade-off, incomplete information and uncertainties in ecosystem conservation.
