Redeveloping the greyfield suburbs: A case study of Melbourne and Auckland

Urban consolidation has been a contentious and politically fraught policy. Greyfield redevelopment precincts provide the possibility that substantial numbers of new dwellings can be inserted into the well serviced suburbs. This research will identify and understand the motivations of the prime actors that operate in the greyfield suburbs.
