Potential Implications of Canal Estates for Nutrient Budgets in Coastal Systems
Deception Bay is an area where new and old planning approaches are converging on the associated shoreline and catchments. The reconstruction and understanding of past changes provides a strong basis for assessing current status and devising targeted management strategies. This project will use historical data (including a hydrodynamic model) to determine how different landscape and development approaches alter environmental processes and performance with the aim to identify ways of mediating the impacts or establishing better practices.
