This project endeavours to develop a model that has the ability to identify the distribution of species, ecosystems, ecosystem services, culturally important areas and important extraction/development areas, then map how these might alter under predicted climate change.

Using this model, I intend to answer 4 research questions:

1) How do we inform and reconnect people with the biosphere to encourage environmental stewardship?

2) Are our valuable areas protected now and into the future?

3) How do we capture the value of dynamic ecosystem services within spatial conservation planning?

4) How much data is required to make good environmental decisions?
