I work at the interface of science and policy in the applied areas of natural resource management and biodiversity conservation. Recent research has focused on exploring how, by targeting management actions towards natural capital stocks, we can influence ecosystem function, and thus the provision of ecosystem services and conservation outcomes. My key areas of interest are: ecosystem services; biodiversity policy; and biodiversity offsetting. I am currently working part-time as a post-doc on the NESP funded project ‘better offsets for threatened species’
