Martha has been working on climate change and sustainability in different organisations including NGOs, consulting firms and the United Nations for more than 10 years. She worked on various climate mitigation projects in renewable energy, palm oil, waste and Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD+). Prior to pursuing her PhD, she taught subjects related to climate change and environmental engineering in a university in Indonesia. Her recent works include: private sector engagement in climate finance (with the National Council on Climate Change); institutional coordination on climate finance (working paper for the Green Climate Fund), potential implementation of market-based mechanisms in Indonesia (a book chapter), and an introduction to environmental and carbon taxes in oil and gas industries in Indonesia (with Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance).
