
Researcher biography
Hadi Shabanpour is a PhD student in Environmental Management at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Prior to joining the University of Queensland, he was a researcher of the "Young Researchers and Elites Club" at IAU Karaj branch (KIAU) for eight years. He also worked as a lecturer at IAU and the University of Applied Sci.& Tech. in Iran. He obtained BSc in Industrial Management from KIAU and his master’s in Strategic Management from IAU-Central Tehran Branch.
Research Interests
His research is interdisciplinary and focuses on the assessment of sustainability and/or circularity of supply chains as well as eco-efficiency of industries through DEA models. More specifically, he investigates real-world and state-of-the-art frameworks to forecast future sustainability/eco-efficiency of DMUs and propose practical improvement benchmarks.
