Researcher biography

I have a background in remote sensing, spatio-temporal data analysis and data-driven modelling in different environemntal systems, ranging from coastal zones to Great Barrier Reef (GBR) catchments. I have applied these methods globally to classify coastal geomorphology, retrieve historical shoreline change, and predict future shoreline response under sea level rise impacts. I have also researched the fusion of optical and SAR satellite images to reconstruct cloud-contaminated optical pixels. I am currently working on monitoring, regulating and optimizing agricultural activities in GBR catchments with remote sensing and data-driven models to improve the quality of water entering GBR.
