The UQ Graduate School and SEES invite you to attend the SEES Heat of the 2019 Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition.
The 3MT is an academic competition that challenges Higher Degree by Research candidates to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience. 3MT celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages their skill in communicating the importance of research to the broader community.
Cash Prize for Winners of the SEES Heat:
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300
People's Choice: $200
Winners will be nominated to compete in the Science Faculty Final!
All academic, professional staff, students, and members of the wider community are welcome to attend this event.
